Bruce Hazelton founded Green Mountain Pet Stop in 2003. His passion for dogs started in childhood and has driven him to provide this service for other dog lovers. With a background in electrical and computer work, Bruce was thrilled to bring Pet Stop products to Vermont. He has been raising dogs for over 30 years and has been a reputable breeder of Akitas since 2002. Bruce's extensive knowledge and experience are reflected in every fence he installs.
Bill Grant started his career with dogs in 2001, inspired by his first Akita, Jacob. This led him to a career as a professional dog trainer at Canine Consulting in Rowley, Massachusetts. With 30 years of dog training experience, Bill integrates the Pet Stop Fence system seamlessly into his training services. He provides exceptional training support to ensure that every dog runs safely and happily within the boundaries set by Green Mountain Pet Stop.

A Pet Stop system uses a buried wire and a receiver collar to create a safe boundary around your yard. As your dog approaches the boundary, the collar gives a warning tone followed by a gentle stimulus if needed. With training, your dog learns exactly where it can and can’t go.
