For more than 25 years, Indiana Hidden Fence has been dedicated to keeping pets safe. It all began when Mike McGehee, the founder, found two abandoned dogs in Kentucky. Growing up on a farm in Kentucky and later moving to Floyd County, Indiana, Mike has always been a dog lover. This lifelong passion led him to establish Indiana Hidden Fence. Mike and his wife Melissa are deeply committed to pet safety, inspired by a heartwarming moment when they found two lonely puppies near their parents' house. These puppies, Jack and Jill, loved to roam, making regular fences ineffective. Seeking a better solution, Mike discovered a special pet fence system that changed everything.Despite his background in engineering and computer networks, Mike wanted to make a more meaningful impact. This realization drove him to leave his corporate job and start Indiana Hidden Fence. Through meticulous testing and implementation, Jack and Jill's escapades were curtailed, marking a watershed moment. Recognizing the potential of this technology, Mike and Melissa established Indiana Hidden Fence to reflect their shared passion for animal welfare. When not busy with school and sports, Michael, Mason, Mallory, and MaKenna can often be found lending a hand in the family business. Their ethos revolves around integrity and a commitment to delivering unparalleled service to the community. A Pet Stop system uses a buried wire and a receiver collar to create a safe boundary around your yard. As your dog approaches the boundary, the collar gives a warning tone followed by a gentle stimulus if needed. With training, your dog learns exactly where it can and can’t go.
