Pet Stop of Northwestern PA is locally owned and operated, dedicated to providing you with peace of mind and your pet with the freedom they deserve. Founded by Andy Grim in the fall of 2006, we serve the containment needs of pet owners in Erie, Crawford, Venango, Forest, and Clarion counties. Our mission is to ensure that your pet is safe, happy, and healthy. Andy Grim's journey in pet containment began in 1998 with Canine Safety Systems in the Philadelphia market. Owned and operated by Larry and Sharon Grim since 1995, Canine Safety Systems started as a Pet Safe dealer and switched to Pet Stop in 2001. Andy learned from the best in the business for eight years before starting his own dealership with Pet Stop products in 2006. Motivated by the loss of a beloved dog as a teen, Andy is committed to saving other pet owners from the anguish of a lost or injured pet. Andy believes the best way to achieve this is through a containment system that is adjustable and adaptable to each pet's personality and the owner's needs. Pet Stop products offer almost infinite adjustability to suit any situation and type of pet. Even on his farm property, Andy's dogs, “Sweetie” (boxer), “Scully” (corgi), and “Tristan” (greyhound), are safely contained by a Pet Stop fence. With Andy's extensive experience, the quality of the Pet Stop brand, and the expertise of the people behind Pet Stop products, pet owners can rest assured that their pets are safe behind “The Best Fence You’ll Never See.”

A Pet Stop system uses a buried wire and a receiver collar to create a safe boundary around your yard. As your dog approaches the boundary, the collar gives a warning tone followed by a gentle stimulus if needed. With training, your dog learns exactly where it can and can’t go.
